Kitties!

Kitties are here!  Our cat Bootsie has been prego until this morning when she came to breakfast with no belly!  So, the big question. . .where are the babies?  Well, I spent an hour waiting for her to go back to them so I could follow her, all the while pretending that I wasn't paying any attention to her.  So finally she heads off to the front yard and I sneak after her with my digital camera in tow.  I finally spot her black and white fur deeeeeeeep in the underbrush of our "elephant ear" bushes (that's just what we call them, probably not the real name) and low and behold there they are!!  I could see two solid white ones and at least one mostly black with white.  Anyway we are so excited.

And of course I have a picture for you all!    It's hard to see I know *sorry* but the white you see (above the big stick going across the middle) is one white kitty, if you look real close you can see a little white tail sticking out to the right of the white blob.  I'm not sure if there are 5 or 6.  They were born yesterday, St. Patty's day, also Fred's 1st birthday!

I seem to be having a problem with my pictures lately...if you've noticed there's an empty box with a small red X.  If anyone knows what's going on and how I can fix it, please let me know.  Well, time to run now, the kids will be home from school soon and I haven't gotten much done around here.  I've been gone since 8:30 this morning and therefore, my house isn't where I want it to be.  I like to be able to tell the kids, "well, it was clean before you came home!"   You all have a great Friday!   ..:~bye~:..
