2 chicken's abducted!

      2 of our 11 chickens have disappeared!  I went out to feed the animals this evening and I found hundreds of feathers all around inside the chicken pen and all around the ground outside of the pen.  I quickly started counting and that was when I discovered 2 were missing!   I also noticed that 2 of the 9 remaining chickens have gashes in their backs!  Robert said the perpetrater must have been either a chicken hawk or the screech owl that lives in our pine head.  I am just sick about it.  Now I am afraid the meanie will be back tonight! My poor little chickens, they are only 3 months old! I never really liked chickens until we got these as little peeps the week before Christmas.   Robert has been meaning to put a roof on the pen (it's inside our polebarn). He better get on it!
