A nice ending to a long Saturday was the Plant City Classic Car Show. It is held the 3rd Saturday of every month and we are there every month. My sweet Betsy is a classic car freak! Her fave's are 1960's Ford Mustangs, as you can see from the pics. She gets her drivers license this year and we have people all over the country looking for a good deal on one. She has stacks of pictures of old cars that she's taken at these shows and no idea what she wants to do with them. It's a great hobby for her and I can't wait to be able to buy her dream car. Betsy's dream car is quite different from her sister's. Katie wants something "high profile", something that will turn heads! It's never the same model either, sort of the "flavor-of-the-month" kind of thing.
The lunch at the girls home went well. We had so much food! I was so stuffed that I wasn't even hungry at 8:00 this evening. I am sitting here now with a small bowl of Plant City strawberries, instead of my usual Cheez-its! Well everyone, I am going to bed early tonight and I'm gonna READ. Something I have been neglecting with all the chaos around here. I'll shout at you tomorrow! Hey, don't forget CHURCH! ~bye~

Sound like a nice day, get caught up on that rest!
That car is fantastic! It reminds me of a slower more innocent time in our history. Hope you have a great Sunday. :)
How freakishly weird....my Betsy loves mustangs too! She will go for classic or new....but we are a classic car family. My husband just sold his 57 Ford. We have had a 51 Ford and a 32 coupe as well....also a truck which I don't remember the year! LOL....we used to go to car shows all the time back home. They are few and far between here. Dh has quite the collection of "old car stuff". I allowed him a small corner in our home for display....lol. ;o)
