Rainy, Windy Day

It's raining, it's pouring, I wish I was snoring. . . .What a lousy miserable day!  I have no desire to get out of the house today.  I haven't fed the animals yet and I am not looking forward to it.  Wes is still in bed.  He was up until 2:30 am finishing his book.  He started reading about 9:00 yesterday morning and he read all day and into the night until he finished it.  I'm really proud of him, because he doesn't like to read.  The book is a biography on Robert E. Lee during the Civil War years.  Wes said that it was very interesting, yet depressing from his viewpoint as a southerner.  He has to write his report today.  Nothing like waiting til the last minute.  I wish that this experience (of reading a 400 page book from cover to cover) would make a reader out of him.  I am an avid reader! I am always reading at least one book, and at the present time, two books.  I never go to sleep without reading a few pages.  Robert doesn't like me to read in bed, but won't complain as long as I scratch his back while I read.  Well, that lasts about 1 minute!  He told me once that his next wife will be illiterate!  Very funny. . . .*smile*.  He is so cute . . . really.  Anyway, I am going to try to finish all of the laundry today.  Yesterday with the kids being home from school they did all of their laundry, so now I must do several loads of towels and all Robert's clothes and mine.  It's a perfect day for laundry and cleaning.  I noticed that the girls did not clean their shower on Saturday, so maybe I'll do it for them. . .or maybe not.  Have a wonderful day y'all!   ::~bye~::
