Our 1st 80* day!
I am so happy to be living in the Sunshine State today! It is our first day of 80* temperatures. The kids are out of school today due to the Strawberry Festival Parade. Katie and Michelle are laying out, taking advantage of "free" tanning. You know, that is something that amazes me about Florida. We have more tanning salons than any other state in the nation! Every highschooler has a tanning bed membership! It makes no sense to me. It does no good whatsoever to explain to them the dangers of tanning; to them it is better than the alternative, being "disgustingly, grossly white". Whatever... Anyway, Wes is reading his 400 page book on Robert E. Lee for a book report due on Wednesday! He hasn't been very diligent over the last month since he's had the book, so "last minute Charley" strikes again. Betsy is doing her favorite past time, watching "The Golden Girls" on Lifetime. I believe that she is 15 going on 75. Robert is working (what else is new). And me? why I'm sitting here writing to all of you. I have already fed all of the animals (by the way, we still have all 9 of the non-abducted chickens left). And all 5 puppies. The lady that came the other day will be over this afternoon to pay for a puppy, but she won't be picking it up until this weekend. And thats about it. I'm sure I'll be back later today, so until then. . . .have a good one! ::~bye~::

Our weather has been up and down. You never really know how to dress. So it's best to dress moderately cool and take a jacket... and an umbrella... and sunglasses... and, well you get the idea. ;)
