Great concert

                 The OakRidge Boys

I really enjoyed the concert last night.  Well, with the exception of a couple of little things.  1. It was only 49 degrees.  2. It was raining.  Now remember, we were outside and no umbrellas were allowed.   I did invest in a cheap rain poncho which saved my life and the lives of Betsy and Wes.  I sat between them and unsnapped the sides of the poncho and they spread it over them like a blanket, keeping their legs somewhat dry. The seats couldn't have been better, FRONT row(actually 2nd row, but no one showed up to sit in the front row seats, therefore, we had the front row).  The stage is kind of high, so I couldn't wear the hood on the poncho because it blocked my sight, so I looked like I had taken a shower by the end of the concert.  And cold! Poor Robert had nothing to cover his legs with and so he had cold wet jeans and his little jacket soaked through and even his undershirt was wet, so I had it a little better than him.  He wore the hood that zips into the collar of his jacket and it fit him like a beenie.  The kids and I laughed our fool heads off whenever we looked at him.  All in all it was a wonderful evening and we even bought their latest CD, The Journey which is bluegrass and gospel.  They sang the title song on the CD in the show and it was so good that I said it was worth going to the concert just to hear that song.  So, I will probably be back later in the day to journal again. You all have a nice morning! ::~bye~::

49 and raining, and then, they are not great looking. you know where I would be. My cloths would be dry, as well as my hair. To bad the weather was not good, but I know that you all had a great time and that was the important thing.
