Picture from HometownI just can't seem to get going this morning.  I know that I am stranded at the house with no transportation, maybe that's it.  Robert will be here in about 2 hours to take me to work.  He is bringing a guy over later to chain up to the truck and haul it to the garage.  The girls were late this morning as Katie's alarm didn't go off.  You know. . .I just have to rant for a moment. . .Katie is so good at setting her alarm for 6:00 and getting herself and Betsy up in the morning.  Well, Robert's alarm goes off at 6:30 and he always get's up on time too.  He gets in the shower this morning, gets dressed and THEN he goes out to the kitchen, no girls.  He walks back to our room and says, "hon, the girls are still in bed"  Ok, here's my rant.  When he didn't hear the blow dryer or the girls fighting this morning as usual, do you not think that it would dawn on him to check to see if they are up before he is ready to walk out the door?  Where is the little "alarm" that should be in his head saying "something isn't right here"  I don't get it.  If it were me, I would check to make sure they were up BEFORE jumping in the shower.  I don't hear anyone's alarm in the morning and Robert is usually getting out of the shower before I wake up.  I guess it wouldn't hurt for me to get up earlier to check that everyone is on schedule.  Fortunately these problems are the exception and not the rule.

I am going to run now.  It is way past feeding time for the animals.  I am out of horse feed as my truck broke down yesterday on the day I was planning to get it.  We have a couple of extra small pastures to put them in when we run out of feed, so they will not starve. . .but we really need to get it today.  Chicklet, the pig is getting huge and Tater is growing like a weed.  The kitties are all wild and so I can't pick them up and play with them.  They are fun to watch though.  I am going now.  Have a great day.

LOL At my house everyone depends on me to get them up and I let everyone down this am.  Hubby woke me getting clothes out of the closet at 5:25 (he should have done been gone) I threw his lunch together and crashed back in the bed, slept thru the alarm again and woke 10 minutes after the bus had ran.  So I had the pleasure of driving the kids to school this am on one cup of coffee!  -  Barbara

I'll oversleep most of the time if it is not for my 14 year old. He wakes up at the crack of dawn everyday! I envy you for your menagerie. I would love to have a farm, an orchard, a big veggie garden and lots of animals. I'd like to grow what I eat.  The city living is wearing me down.

Men, if they can send one to the moon-- why cant they send them all there!! LOL!!  Well that is how I feel at times.  My husband can really get on my nerves at times.  He says I would be lost without him though and he is probably right. I love the graphic, its funny!!  Hope you have a nice day.

I am the alarm clock in my house.  If I don't get up, no one gets up.  Funny, isn't it?  I hope the truck doesn't take long to be repaired.  Tomorrow will be a better day, enjoy the weekend! :)

I love how husbands come to their wives when they are dumbfounded...you know they have to run it past us and see if "something really is out of place" or something isn't quite right.  They crack me up....and then every once in awhile it annoys me.  LOL
