Celebrating my dads retirement!

I want to take a moment to congratulate my dad on his retirement!  He worked for the same company for 45 years!  Now it's time to kick back and enjoy life.  He and my mom have been working hard and saving to build their dream retirement home on their lake front property for many years now.  All I can say is "build a big one!"  You know I'm kidding.  I want you to know that I love you and I am very proud of you and appreciate the example that you have set for me and Scott and our families.  Let the party begin!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Balloons Confetti

That is so awesome!!....It is one thing to actually have parents that have stayed together in this day and time..LOL..But to have a father keep his job steady and to retire from it...that's the greatest..and it's truly WORTH respecting..that's rare these days!! :)...Congrats to your parents!!

Wow! Is that a Guiness record or what? With all the mobility nowadays not a lot of people stay where they are for more than five years.  Congrats to your Dad!
