No time

I am going to say the words. . .are you ready?   "I don't have time to journal"  I hate it but it's true!  I keep thinking that tonight I'll do it, or tomorrow I"ll be able to make an entry.  But as you all can see, it just doesn't happen.

Anyway. . .I am worried about tomorrow.  We are having a tropical storm with winds up to 70 mph.  I wasn't a journaler during the hurricanes last year, and I wish I was so I could have shared the devestation around me.  I don't want to go through another hurricane season like last year.  My husband is a farmer for goodness sake!  How much can that poor man take.  He has only been picking for 1 week and 1/2 and every one of those days had rain.  He is depressed about the week end ahead.

   Could we face this?

I pray we don't face this!

Would you all pray for this state for us?  There are many thousands whose lives are still not back together from last year.

I have to go.  I'll try to write tomorrow.

I will keep you, your family and your farm in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope and pray that whatever you get, if anything, is minimal. Stay safe!

I am praying for you. Where are you? I am in Miami and the rain is pounding hard here. It seems that we will miss the worst part of the storm but just the thought that they say that this is going to be an active season like last it is scary. *Louise*

I pray you dont have to go though it again either. My husbands upset with the rain because we cant get started on cutting our hay we are 3 weeks behind. We lost the back field that he cut. May God be with you.

Been keeping an eye on Arlene, and it looks like she moved back out without doing too much damage.  Hope your farm and home escaped wind and rain damage.

Hope things went well for you. We need the rain so bad in south texas and others are getting more then they need. But that is life, isn't it? Paula
